Thread: Resonator advice, Vibrant or Dynomax

I'm about to get a resonator for my 3" catback

Still debating between Vibrant Vibrant Exhaust Fabrication - Standard Resonators UNIVERSAL 0 - 0 17950

It's a 5" body and 18" length

And this Dynomax

4" body and about 3 inches longer than the Vibrant

Which resonator are you runing on your 3" N/A VE's?

I'm running this one below...

ive got a like 2 foot resonator on there with a magnaflow oval muffler on my nx....if i had the vibrant muffler id be sett...magnaflow is a lil loud....but who knows

How do you like it? do you have pics?



Is the resonator a Vibrant?

i dont have one.... vibrant muffler n sounded sweeeeet

i dont have a ve but on my de+t i have a maganaflow and it isnt loud nore raspy

im sure the vibrant would sound good, i have one of their mufflers on the g20 with no resonator an it doesn't sound that bad at all believe it or not..

on my se-r im running 3" mandrel exhaust with a huge (i think bigger then 18") magnaflow glasspack and a 4x9x18 magnaflow muffler.. i love the sound of my car, its deep as hell an aggressive but not too loud

Get the longest one you can find. If it doesn't fill the whole straight section then get two smaller ones. But I hate the noise...

no idts...came with the car....id like to get some vibrant exhaust components...prices are right...just never headr them in pwerson to decide
