VE head On DE/DET Block - Drilling.
I have a DET Block im rebuilding and installing a rebuild VE head.

My question is, Can i drill an oil feed for the solenoids on the DET block at the factory VE position? rather than having an external oil feed line. Will it work? Does it have an oil gallery under that spot on the DET block.

I have searched on a few forums and only seen people mention it rather than it been done. Any information would be granted, Thanks

^ What he said. VVl's have a little extention on the block that the DE's don't have.

These guys are correct and incorrect.

Most DET blocks can not be drillled.

If you have a W11 DET block it can be drilled.

I always thought W11 bottom ends were the same as W10.

I am ether using a U13 or W10 Block (I have both) So it looks like ill be running an external line.

I have a W11 det block, there was no block under the ve port that could be drilled, same as every other det block ive seen.
