Thread: best headers for sr20ve

so im getting ready to get exhaust so as my swap will be done in bout a week. What brand headers/muffler should i consider getting? probably can spend 250 to 450 for both? thanks

I have a ebay header and it works really good for a 100 bucks

For that price your lookin at eBay or used on here. A good header is a must for an allmotor build if your serious. I remember on some of my Honda builds I would make a 10-15 hp difference on some of my all motor set ups!! Some times more! But spend more and buy a good one and ull be all set.

Get an (Ebay) SSAC header with the 2.5" secondary. Make sure it is the 2.5", it should be but double check.

Get a VRS piping kit from Andreas Miko.

Utilize a Magnaflow or Vibrant resonator and muffler. Get the biggest resonator that will fit. Or talk to Miko about what he recommends/sells.

Miko might even have some pre-owned stuff that will work with your budget.
