starting issue
car was running fine but then today at lunch time it would not start for me i would try but all it would do is click the starter and it chatter click click click almost like a dead battery but the battery is new and my DVOM shows it charged to 12.6

i kept trying and it started but this seems to be the norm now and its very annoying. i was thinking of two possible things either the starter is going bad or maybe an issue with the timing but i am not sure about this issue. maybe something worse and the engine is locking up and the starter is not strong enough to turn the engine?

has anyone else heard of this issue before

dont bother comparing you CAN use the VE one, however you need to get a 1" longer bolt AND a matching nut to put in the lower hole for the starter because the lower hole isn't threaded like our starters are..

its best to have a friend help cause the starter can be tricky to get in alone.. i've done it but its seriously a pain in the ass..

installed the VE starter and now its starts up like normal

went to homedepot and found the bolt and nut that i needed and removed the wire from the VE harness and wired it up to look nice.

all is back to normal

OMG im bout to throw this car away

it did it again i changed the starter last night and all was good this morning and i made it to work just fine but i went out to lunch and when i get back in the car it starts to make the same noise away. the same noise as a dead battery but i am lost at what could be doing this.

time to check over everything once more and see what this could be but from what i am seeing is its only doing it when its hot out. to many amps?

would a misaligned clutch do this?

what could be causing this
i am going to change the battery from my pick up truck to see if its the battery that maybe went bad.

Battery is certainly a possibility...
