will a engine harness from a 96 manual g20 be comparable for my swap? i noticed miko said 95-97 200sx ser engine harness. same motor correct? so should be able to use that harness as well right? thanks

no the harness will not plug in to the inside of the car. just use the 1.6 harness and you will be fine.

so let me clearify, i can use ga16 1.6 engine harness on a sr20ve motor?

yeah but it wont be pretty
same pin out similar sensors
mostly same plugs
if you can solder i would say yes

it all depends on how nice you want it to look i had a 2.0 harness and i still extended everything i dont like the tube loom nissan uses over injectors i ran each injector cable through the runners on the intake mani and most of the harness on mine sits under the intake mani but the only thing i am not sure of is the distributor harness plug on 1.6 don't know if it matches that of a 2.0 i'm pretty sure your going to need to get a obd2 b14 dizzy unless you rewire your harness for vvl distributor which is what i did i dont like the obd1 dizzy its ugly you have to cut it which doesn't really affect it and it has a external coil

honestly, id just go ser harness....save you the time/trouble/possible mess-ups!

if you can find a harness that plugs in correctly from under the dash go for it.

1.6 harness plugs right into the 2.0 dizzy. i didn't have to rewire anything tell i activated my vvl. just the injector part of the 1.6 is shorter. but all you have to do is cut the plastic casing on the harness and then the injectors reach with no problem.
