Finally getting the new head & cams fitted this coming week & then I will be modifying the headers & replacing the 2.5" system with a 3". Got thrown a wee bit off track as I purchased a second P11 that came with a Tomei SR22DE engine so was investigating putting it all together and making a SR23VE. As the new head & cams have been designed for the existing VE block it would have been a compromise so I've decided against it & will stay 2L on the VE for now. Does leave me with 2 pretty cool cars though

How are everybody else's builds going?

Shopping for Neils VET build should be intense:
Sr16ve block + Head
forged rods and pistons (9:1) and tubular hi mount manifold.
Hi crane ign 6
Sleaved, rebuilt
Sr20de crank

Which turbo Gt35R or Gt30R @ .64?
Should be able to get hands on a xr6T Gt35R @ .64 just worried about it being to big.

I'm surprised so many people want to go big power with the price of fuel these days. Then again I'm pretty sure most of these builds will not be going into daily drivers.

Good luck guys . Post your numbers. Oh and do it quality. No sense in spending big money and then blowing up your motor.
