what are the predictions ?

Sounds good.
I would go higher on the compression, depending on application. This would give you more room if one day you wanted to go with bigger cams. With proper valve reliefs of course. Why only .5mm on the valves? Recommend at least 1mm on int & ex. to justify the expense, and more flow for those biggger cams.
I have the same build in mind for road race only. One of these days.
Seems you already have your flow figures for the entire motor. That's the way to do it.

I wonder if any of you will share what you are doing. It does not have to be specific if you dont want it to be but give a good general description.

Another VE-T here:

1999 SR20VE
86.5mm 8.5:1 JE pistons
Eagle rods
Jun head bolts
VE metal head gasket
undecided on bearings (open to recommendations)
tial 38mm WG
Master Power T60-1
oil cooler

Its getting build at Valverde Racing, should be ready in a couple of months. I think I will run short on injectors though, I currently have nismo 555cc @ 4 bar
plans are 15psi on pump gas and 24psi on C16

reason being the head porter recomended against it... actually i was going to stick with the stock valve size, but the stock valves were deemed bad.. so they were tossed and uped to .5mm over size... also the fly cuts on the pistons are stock in size(modeled after the sr16ve pistons), also on the compression aspect, it is going to be a street motor, to be honest if it wasnt a street motor , i probably woldnt go futher than 12-13.1...... hmm flow figures, well on the head that is going to be used i dont have numbers.
bigger cams are definately in the picture, n1 are probabley temporary, but what proven cam is there to go with that is better than the n1?

im doing a de/ve set up with wiseco 11:1 comp pistons and n1 cams with a custom header still in the works and a good intake, ignition, fuel set up. tuning will be timing and fuel for the moment (v)saf-c) but i think i can pull decent numbers with just that. it's goin to be a street motor as well, if everything feels right im going to throw nitrous at it as well.

My existing Cook Motor Racing ported head with Franklin Stage 4 cams, standard springs & Cook Motor Racing cam gears is soon to be retired along with the Fujitsubo headers. I may also being changing the Bikirom ECU for a standalone.

The P11 is getting a new top end courtesy of Kelford Camtech. Sitting in the garage is another VE head that has been rebuilt & ported by Kelford. It's got Kelford cams, Kelford springs & Kelford cam gears.

The Fujitsubos & 2.5" inch exhaust will be getting the flick in favour of a custom 4 into 1 header & 3" exhaust setup.

My original plan was to do a 3 way cam test - Kelford vs Franklin vs N1 though costs are beginning to mount up and this may not be possible. I'll see what I can do but no promises.

There was already a test done with Custom Kelfords, Franklins and N1's

of course the person who did it won't be around much on the forums

Kelford is a good cam company and I have bought a set of cams from them before. If they were closer I would have been intertested in having them do my head too. What flow numbers did you get out of them if you do not mind? I have been doing some extensive testing myself...PM me if you do not want to share yet.

As for now the K20 head has some good competition with what I have just done.I just need to make sure that everything is consistent and true.LOL!!! My head has been tinkered with the past 2 months and we are getting good numbers.
