16VEs did not have oil squirters. You have to notch the pistons for oil squirters if installing 16VE pistons into a 20VE.

They do as a post above says. The stroke lenght prevents pistons hitting squirters

What gave you this idea? all SR16VE have squirters, the pistons aren't notched because of the shorter stroke, the pistons come nowhere close to the squirters.

I thought it was a SR20VE 20V because

20V comes 8 counterweight
20V has oil Squirters
20V has no girdle

It's the squirters I was confused about, I thought only the N1 and the DET had them. Oh well, still, my question has been answered, ALL VE's have them.
