Some very cool cylinder head work.
Now if only they would get into doing stuff for the VE. Expensive but not near as expensive as someone doing port work by hand thats for sure. Amazing looking work and used on some of the highest hp n/a and boosted hondas out there.

Either way they do great work

I would be interested to see this kind off thing offered
For a ve head but in my opinion you will never get better than a old school dude sitting down at his bench hand massaging each runner.

That's an interesting video. Something like that for the VE's would be awesome. The complexity of the robotics programming to get the engine to twist and turn like that and for each port in the exact same manner is pretty cool. I would think some serious thought went in to creating that machine and the program it runs off of.

Boostednx: How do you say that?

The cnc machine is soo advanced that each runner is exactly 100% identical, flows the same cfm has the same dynamic properties and so on. Old school is just that. Old. Does it still work? of course but a cnc is soo much more precise than the human eye. I was doing some reading on their site. All their port designs are flow tested before they are offered as a service. Not to mention the time it takes a cnc machine to do a port job is literally a fraction of the time of doing it by hand and just as good if not better flow. This company hasnt made a reputation of having the best flowing cylinder heads making the most power for nothing. lol.

That is really, really amazing. Problem is, as a whole, it seems that SR fans tend to be cheapskates. I admit, I am; why else would I choose an $800 SR20VE over a $1,200 B16 or B18 or whatever (and come out with more torque and HP )? Hondas also have a bigger fanbase, so even if they pitch in less, the sheer number makes up for it.

As I run the same 5 axis cnc machine that you see in that video every day there are many variables when you machine a cast cylinder head witch I have also done there are casting spots aka air pockets, uneven thickness ranging in casting and then you have the variables such as tool wear tool breakage coolant efficiency you can either make or break the product. Yes I will agree with you saying that this service offered in this video and is amazing and would be awesome to our community I do not know any lead head porter that runs a head on there car without some little touching up that they have done. So yes this would be a great benefit to our community you are correct but I have seen the flow numbers off a cnc ported head and the numbers where huge then I seen a head that a "old school " hand port and the flow numbers where beat flow wise by atleast 50 cfm throughout the entire valve lift especially down low. That was on a sr20ve head. Again yes this is great but I will stick to old school on some of my engine items on this being one of them.

Who's got the cnc program for ve heads. And what did it flow. I didn't know anyone was doing cnc ports on the ve
