Thread: Considering to buy this motor

I forget all the spec's to it. I remember it's 24" to the collector with a 2.25" choke to 2.5". I haven't had a chance to test it yet. Too many problems with my damn car as of late since I got it running. Now I'm working out of town so I can't do any testing till I get back.

Better welds = how much HP?

BTW that is a nice looking header from Protech, how much was it?

I don't remember how much it was. I sold my budget header and got my money back from that and prob had to add a little more to it.

I'm picky about the welds for a good reason. If I just paid $100 for it then it's no big deal. If I paid over that I'd like it to look nice because that is no small chunk of change.

u could shave the scabs (extruding welds) off for a clean look i guess.
