I was considering a DET swap but I want NA, and VVL.

VE Block with N1 pistons + regular VE head + 20v head gasket = roughly $1250

good deal or not.

I just bought a ASP 4-2-1 header

the block and head a seperated right now but as a bundle the individual is selling it as that, shipped.

Buy a stock VE and enjoy the ride.

1250 is not bad if it was assembled and ready to go. Still not too bad of a deal as long as it has everything as far as the manifold, injectors, solenoids, coolant pipes and so on. Basicly complete motor.

You can get a stock VE for about 750 picked up or cheaper some places and 800 shipped. So its your call.

the n1 pistons wont give you much power

sell the asp header, they make just as much power as the 150 dollar ssac 2.5 on ebay.

He is in Socal the N1 pistons and 91 pee water we have here will be very hard to tune. He throws it in there with the stock cams it's going to be trouble.

I've been looking for stocker VE's and everything more than I remember from last year. Like 900-1000 now from a good source.
asp header is better than ssac ebay plus I got it super cheap, dyno proven, better flow. Dollar per horse powers is nearly the same as ebay stuff.
Im still waiting to see if it has wiring harnesses, solenoids ect.
I doubt it.
he is telling me the stock cam's will be okay so idk

So im going to change the plan.
It doesn't come with anything but the head and block.
so im thinking 400 for the N1 block.
5k miles on it, never revd over 5k rpm.
he not might have it by then
thoughts any one?

asp header makes the same if not less hp then the ssac.

buy a stock ve man, specially if your in cali and cant get 93 oct.
