I was going to say, just run JWT C cams on a DE, but then the head flow would be the limiting factor.

Now running 20V cams, would be not a bad way too go too, since they are larger then S4's.

The point is to reduce weight of the valvetrain...

Reg Cook has been doing this for a while. If I remember correctly the cams were developed by him and made by Franklin. I'm surprised there aren't more people with race purpose cars have done this. IIRC the BTCC VEs deleted the VVL for less friction/rotating mass and race cams.

Im surprised nobody has made a roller rocker arm for the VE yet that is mass produced. Especially if they incoorporate onto the rocker a valve clearance adjustment like the hondas have that way you dont have to deal with shims anymore.

Seems like if a company did this they would sell pretty decent. And make setting valve lash much easier.

That could happen if more the RWD 240 guys start picking up on the head and demand takes off. I don't see it been a bolt in deal either machine work would be needed.
