Oil burns

My engine is burning oil I use regular 10 -40 valvoline if I change to synthetic wilit burn faster yhem the regular oil

i have the same problem on my ga. its only if i keep revving past 4k though. but i have high compression on each cylinder.

u got to figure out if its the rings or valve seals. it wouldnt matter what oil u put it in its gonna burn it up. i would do a compression test and a cylinder leak down test if u can.
