Quick bit of advice please
Im cashed up and ready to buy a turbo and wastegate for my race car.
SR20VE, H beams rods, Je pistons, cams etc. Im going to make a custom manifold as the turbo is going to sit above the gearbox.... My tuner is suggesting a GT3071 with a .63 rear housing might be about right, im looking for 400hp at the wheels. And a 44mm Tial wastegate should be about right?
The car is being built for sealed circut / time attack and hill climb work
So first is this the right choice? what style flange should i choose?
Second, since our dollar is quite strong it will be 800-1000 $ less to buy the stuff from the US, Who is a reputable trader to deal with given that i am in New Zealand and will need international shipping and im handing over my money i may never see again. Ebay or other?
