That's about 70usd plus the welding, a friend does top notch TIG works for a steal.

That should outperform the original secondaries and won't be spending that much, also I gotta friend who could use my 2.5" downpipe

Please do it, make it, dyno it, show us the results and the last step is profit for you.

Until then, pass the glue!!!!

i just want more bang for my buck, i think my header is holding me back and if i can spend a little cash to improve upon it an gain 5hp an a few tq an maybe fix the powerband then i'd say it would be worth it.. plus not many people have really attempted this besides like one guy an from what i can tell he made a few sets but theres not really much info..

i wish i had the money to make several different sets then dyno them all to see what can really be done with the ssac primarys..

ben, maybe we'll give that a try some time

Here is what I did to my ssac secondaries like sr20venosfreak I cut the flange off the secondaries port it out to fit a 2" pipe into 3" merge collecter.

the runners are around 16" long.

finished product.

Blacktrunk that looks awesome, pretty much what i'd be looking to do. how much did it cost to do that? and have you done any before/after dyno comparisons?

im gonna have to look at yours a little better ben cause i remember it looking stock for the most part

Black Trunk, nice secondaries. They should have come from SSAC that way in a 3" downpipe.

i would like to make atleast 2 sets, an i think i have a way to do it an make it pretty simple and just do away with that 3 bolt 2 hole flange mess.. i want to make 1 with 2 1/4 10" secondaries and one just like the one blacktrunk made, from my research (if im not mistaken) making them bigger and shorter might work nicely, but we'll see i guess..

Thanks for the comments the only thing and can say as far as the power goes is the car feels alot better in the mid and top end. I dynoed the car before i did the custom secondaries and made 174whp 134tq on N1s without the big cam wiring issue on the solenoid and the car is way too rich at wot 12.xx 11.xx 10.xx on the (mtx l afr) I only have basic and dont have no form of real tuning so im going to wait for that new JKtuning jump off before I get back on the dyno.

As far as price goes the only thing that cost alot was the merge collecter $85 ship to my door, flex was from ebay and all the other parts came from summit racing around $150 total in parts.
