I also now have in my possession a Calum R/T thanks to a generous member selling me his unit. All i need is a harness adapter and I'm ready to go. Zer099 said he would make me one, which would be awesome, but unfortunately I've spent a fortune on this car lately and the new money tree I planted hasn't quite sprouted yet! I may have to make my own or wait till the tree grows a bit! It really sucks though, having a Calum R/T sitting on your desk starring at you every day knowing that you can't use it yet............soon I hope!

Which Calum RT do you have? OBD1 or OBD2? If OBD2 go to a junk yard and get a 99 P11 engine harness. That's what guys on G20.net do when they want to use an older OBD2 ecu on their 2000+ p11's. I would have done the same if I stayed OBD2, I needed TunerCode so OBD1 was the only way.

You got ripped off paying $250 for a useless piece of metal. No offense bro, but if you would have went the route mirrortints went you would have saved a ton. It's The idea is essentially the same as your N1 TB is. No need to CNC machine special cut outs etc, just drill and tap the holes for the RR TB.

My car works like a charm, I had some idle issues at first, but that's because my TPS voltage was too low (OBD1 ECU couldn't deliver enough volts because other gadgets where on the same power grid). After I fixed that the car has no issues. I'm actually impressed by how well the car runs.

OBD11. Actually I think it's your old R/T....V1? I guess that would make sense that a P11 harness could work. I guess it would work with all of my sensors and hook up to the ECU, just more work I guess. How much do these harnesses go for? $50?

I didn't pay $250. The company that made it for me suggested they would charge between 200-250 for it to be profitable for him because of the time. If you think about it the apex-i unit is a two piece so it involves more gaskets and chances for problems. I definitely didn't need this piece to be that intricate but its a nice experiment. I don't mind paying a couple hundred bucks for a few months of steady idle. At the time I was so busy with my business so I had no time to do anything else and this worked out perfect for me.

I'm glad you car is running well now. Hopefully mine will be there soon.

Question: when you ran that blue/red wire from your ac compressor, is this also the wire that comes out of the alternator and goes to the compressor? Signal wire when the A/C gets turned on? Did you splice into it?

Edit: I just installed a new HP line for my A/C but I don't know much about A/C..

Also, they template that I gave them to use was the black thermal/phenolic spacer that you see in the below picture. It has a lot of waves and curves in it so they matched that. I'm sure a regularly cut one would be much simpler and would just match the VE plenum shape, bringing down the price more.

The complexity of the cut is based upon what I gave them!

My adapter has 2 holes recessed in so that I mounted all 4 bolts for the itm and tb. Not sure who owns it now, but probably could just put a generous amount of rtv on both sides to give it more of an ait tight seal. Oh well, it was free.

BTW, you can pick up an xcessive sr20ve intake plenum kit, since there's no need for the iacv.

Also, you could send them a b15 tb flange and they could weld that onto their plenum...just a thought.

That is my plan for my p11 in a few years.

^ Ya both good thoughts. The xcessive manifolds are nice. If I upgrade my intake I think I want to do something really custom. I would love for this car to be a "customized to the max" 2.0 VE.

Plus, I believe the RR TB is maxed out at 64mm when bored out..too small

@ mirrortints What did you end up doing with your EVAP stuff? Right now I don't have the purge solenoid valve hooked up and I have a P0443 code for it.

I left it unhooked but didn't care about the codes back then.

I wasn't too worried about it either but I have emissions testing in a couple months. Guess I'll have to figure something out.
