Possible g20 p10 vvl swap???
Hey I recently bought a p10 shell. It's 5 speed, ac lines with condenser and compressor, new lower control arms, and kyb agx's. The shell had been sitting for four years outside so the lines in the engine bay look rusty. I bought the shell to swap in the vvl that's in my nx. If I wanted to swap in the vvl would any of that matter or would it not be worth it?

well a p10 is going to be heavier then a b13/14 so it wont be as fast, however they seem to handle alot better soo its kind of a trade off.. you can use the nx trans also (i would)

basicly if you just want a fairly quick DD then ya go for it, if you are planning on going fast dont bother, a det would prolly be alot easier

I recently did a VVL swap in my daily driver P10 and love it. Let me know if you need any pointers.

well I have an sr16 trans in my nx so I'll be good with that. I just heard that since the g20 has been sitting for so long all the components/lines (power steering lines, abs lines, fuse box, etc) won't work since they haven't been used in so long. Does that affect doing the swap? or can the swap be done just using everything I have on the nx. My nx has the sr16 trans, 370 inj., walbro fuel pump, koyo alum. radiator, apexi neo, 2.5 inch exhaust
I kinda rather have a more comfortable dd with ac as well.

I don't see why the lines wouldn't work as long as their not damaged. All you need to do is flush them out with new fluid.

yeah just give em a flush. hell if the brakes havent been tampered with i'd just leave them for now an flush them when the cars up an running
