VZR N1 ECU to SR20DE ECU Help!
We have just picked up an Pulsar Autech VZR N1. The engine was completly cooked. So we have a Nissan almera with a good working SR20VE engine which is pretty healthy.

My plan is to swap the SR20VE engine into the Pulsar VZR N1, but naturally the engine loom and ECU are different.

My plan was to use the SR20DE ECU and Wiring loom so it's back to 4 injectors. But the problem i have is the NATS. The n15 UK spec SR20DE has a NATS box and an ECU which i believe are mated together. I am wondering, Is there a way to disable the NATS in the ECU, or does anyone know if the cables and plugs are in the N1 for a NATS box. I don't mind keeping the NATS if i can, but i more want to get the engine up and running in the new shell.

Another option was to change the whole dashboard loom so that i can bring the loom to UK spec.

Any help would be appreciated guys.

Hrm, don't know a lot about NATS if it can be disabled or not, so i can't help there, but if it was me... i'd consider using an SR20DE AUDM ECU + loom (or other region i.e USA) that doesn't have NATS so its not an issue.

I don't think that changing the whole dash loom would be a good idea, in case there are other subtle loom changes at certain SMJ's that could cause problems.

Thats what i may need to do, I am going to see if i can remove the NATS in the UKDM ECU first, this would make info so much easier.

The harness is faulty mate, and the ECU has got slight damage - as it doesn't activate the Exhaust cam.

When i get it out the car i am going to see if it can be repaired.

your easiest plan will be Cozzmo's just get a non nats ecu and have the board swapped over.

Probably be better getting a new board anyway as no one else will be able to map Jez's I would seriously consider using Greg at Protuner too over Steve at FC he is a bit of a mong after all.
