When I get a manifold build the design will be similar to this xcessive peice center mount, im no expert and I did have a conversation a long time ago with some so called experts and they said it dont matter. Long story short we worry about log style exhaust and not log style intake which for my .02$ are best for turbo cars. Its in the flow man.

Center t body's will do better. Much better distribution but they are hard to fit. Another good way is to angle the throttle towards the firwall instead of away from it. An ideal set up is something like sr20turbofreaks or Charles's intake manifold he built for his all motor gti-r

Thats a wild looking setup. I wouldnt mind testing something like that. Well if I could get the madman in charge of my ECU to test it lol.

What diameter runners would be a good ballpark to start with on a built motor?

Nope. I highly doubt it. This was a one off piece he made for his all motor Gti-r project. The reason he was able to get away with that throttle placement was partially because it was on a Gti-r and the intake is on an angle unlike the ve. I'm sure you could get him to make you one but it won't be cheap.
