Thread: Bad Distributor?

Hey guys, my VE swap has low RPM stutter. It seems to clear up at high rpm. But when I go from one car to another it makes my sentra really feel like it has a bad miss. The thing is im pretty sure my DE did this too, now my VE does it. I have a calum basic ecu and all the goodies, the only thing im still using from the DE is distributor. I changed the cap+rotor and plugs and wires. Whats a failing distributor feel like?

you might be right, but only really one way to tell an thats to swap in another dist. on the other hand are you using the same DE harness you were before? that maybe an issue aswell. whats your timing set to?

Yea i gotta get my hands on another one. and yea I'm using the same harness I never really thought of that. and my timing is set to 15 degrees
