VVL Wire harness question
Hey I'm newb on the vvls. I've had an nx 1600 with a vvl for about 2 years now as my daily driver. When I first bought it, it was a lot of fun. But as I started digging in the dash and cleaning the engine bay I noticed a lot of the wires were not soldered or some not even taped right. Behind the dash looks a mess. Wires untaped and the ecu looks clogged up because it has an apexi neo connected to it. Would it be better to get a used engine wire harness or remove the harness and re do it? Which would be cheaper and which would be a better choice? I think that because of this my car seems to run like crap sometimes. For some reason it jerks while running.
sorry if this is a dumb question. I have researched but haven't really found the answer I'm looking for. Please help

I'm currently running 370's. I'm running a supposedly custom rom for 370s and nitrous. sr16 tranny with excedy comp clutch. Koyo racing radiator. 2.5 inch exhaust. apexi neo.

Based on your description there would be no way to figure out much about the wiring except that it sounds like it was done poorly. It would probably be cheaper not buying a harness and fixing it since you don't have to pay for a harness, but it depends on how bad the wiring is. I am assuming you don't know much about wiring/electrical. I would have someone look at the wiring who knows what theiy're doing before getting a new harness.
