Because fuck boost.

I just got my high cams wired in and all I can say is, I'm not too impressed. Mind you I am on a fatty p11. I think I will be cranking up the boost to 12 psi after all though...

was the car retuned for the high cams as in the afrs and timing? because the power will flatline if not tuned for

Hey Matrix, thats crazy... your numbers should be over 180whp. I think you went to AMD's Dyno am i right? or you went to "La guacima" Dyno?

Try with your cut-out opened, you could gain like 5 - 7 whp, also get rid of the catalistic converter... Get grade 7 spark plugs, i think thata you are having problems with your setting... was the car too lean or to rich in gas?

Its very weird that you are getting that numbers... do you have a scan of the paper sheet with the results? maybe after seeing that we yould figure out what is happening.

Still getting there, I'm sure it will be a bit better once AFR's are not as rich, but I expected more noticeable of a a cam switch from all the stories that I've heard. Right not it's barely even noticeable (slight sound change/faster revving) and I'm kicking both cams on at the same time.

Mae digale al mae q le dijo que usara mufla en 2.5" que deje de batear... 3" es lo que le sirve a los SR20VE o en todo caso una en 2.5" directa sin nada... talvez haga la tarea... pero no le prometo mucho...

Bosch plugs are not really good for sr's. Try to get some ngk plugs and wires, most dynomaxmufflers are chamber which are crap. Make sure your muffler is a traight through, meaning you can look straight through the muffler.

BTW I would get a moates burner($85) so you can burn your own chips and check your timing map.
