Sigh. Even if you are new to the forum, This is something that been talked about over and over, and like i said in your searching for a sr20ve thread. You need to research. Im goign to reiterate what josh said. The harness, transmission, and ecu you got with it are pieces of SHIT!!!!!!! You obviously didnt get your engine from jdm engine depot as well cuz they dont sent the useless shit with it lol. Use the tranny as a paper weight, the ecu as a frisbee, and the wiring harness..Clip off the ve connectors so its easier to run the ve wires to the window switch.
Use your stock ecu, Im running my stock ecu right now, it just runs a lil rich. And go to summit racing and get a window switch. Either get the nice digital msd switch, Or the 50 dollar summit switch which has flipable switches, josh has had trouble with his switch that is a cheaper digital one loosing its settings, and others have had problems to. I havent had any yet with mine forgeting, but id rather have a nicer spendy msd switch.
Wire up the window switch to the vvl, and have it provide the GROUND, not POWER so its not constantly draining power. Put the switch in the corner where your clutch cable and cruiser control stuff is. Its the best spot out of the way and away from heat. Do NOT wire your window switch into your dizzy's rpm signal, but direcly to the ecu's signal. Otherwise the vvl will kick in early, late, and at weird times.
Even with a nistune ecu, which is the one you will eventually want (in my opinion its the best deal) you still will need the window switch.
So i hope this sums it up for you, you can run it for now with your stock ecu, it just doesnt run perfect, but it still runs great. But next time read up. I dont mean to sound rude but people hate having to repeat the same information in new threads over and over again. Someone (josh) should right a thread that should be sticked at the top for ve swap info in a b13 and a b14 since hes done bough Cough (JOSH) cough.

Heres a switch, but its one that seems to loose settings alot.
Heres a really good one if you have the money.

As for the nistune ecu, if you have 400 bucks you can find one. Otherwise there will be a guy starting another group buy for them here in a month. Which you can get the basic board for like 275, and then the cable is 75, and if you want him to install its like 30 something. So its a pretty good deal. Hopefully this helps. Only reason im being this nice with info is cuz you live in washington and are new to the forum. Normally im not :-D
