Thread: vvl into b13 would it work

here is my question ... i have a 5speed b13 with a stock sr20de motor not turbo ... i want to do a vvl swap a friend of my friend is selling a complete vvl automatic motor except no computer ... if i do this swap would this be an easy swap or would electrical work need be done to get the car up and running properly?

Yes it will work. You need to keep your 5 speed, get a manual ecu, get a window switch to kick in the vvl. And a hose converter for the hose that goes into teh firewall. There you go, next time search the forum first because this gets asked once a month.
