The spec sheet will only give thehigh lobe info. And as far as I know the high cam on both v2 and v3d are the same. Also I know suggested centerlines are 104/106 on my cam card but Kevin was saying a lot of people have had very good results with 102/102

I'm not sure. Other then either physically measuring the small lobe or if kelford can tell you. Why is it so important to you weather they are the v2 or the v3s. I mean if intact the high cam is the same?

Kelford cut their cams retard on the V2's on purpose for reasons we can discuss at a later time.

On the V3 they may have changed the centerline after giving him the results I found with the V2's.

I have to call Kevin again and a verify. Leave the cams at 0,0 until you have it dialed in and tuned.

Putting some of the floating myth to rest:

NONE of these cams are DROP IN cams. (cam gears and re-setting valve lash is needed)

The V3 shares the same HIGH LOBE as the V2.

The V3 has a larger LOW LOBE than the V2.

At the time Kevin see's no benefit in going any larger on the HIGH LOBE.

The change in the LOW LOBE was NOT made specifically for the larger bore motors.

The V2 cams is still a GREAT cam for the average 2L, high comp guy.

These cams were designed around a 2L high compression motor.

If YOU want a cam for YOUR motor (2.2L, 2.4, 2.777777 etc) send your specs (valve size, head flow data etc) to Kelford and they will make one for you. It is not much more than buying their off the shelf cam.
