Still 1600cc?

Very loud in comparison to a 2.5"??

It will be a 3" for when I go 2 liter or im going to see is it possible to fit 184c's to a 1600cc n1 engine?

They have 11.6c:1 cr standard and n1 springs and retainers can handle over 9000rpm so just waiting to hear back from kelford if it will work.

I think the (stock) pistons and valves would say hello to each other with 184c's. Let Kelford tell ya the truth, however.

When you say that do you mean that I would need uprated spring and retainers or some other issue?

I would be planning to get springs and retainer and get it tuned as high as it will make power but i though I might be safe up to 9000 on n1 springs for the moment as I rev to that currently with n1 cams most days but ive no experience with camshafts etc so feel free to explain why Im wrong please

Thats if they would even work in a 1600.

Not about springs and retainers, the lift on the Kelfords and the dome design piston might make them kiss the valves but anyway, let's just ask Kelford

The Kelford 184C will fit in a 1.6 with N1 pistons, the valve lift is @TDC is not enough to cause interference. The real question is why would you want to run it in a 1.6. It wasn't design around a 1.6.

yeah 1600cc. this motor will stay this way. if i want a 2 liter ill just get a 20v. dont want to open this engine up. YES its loud lol. vvl kicks in and it goes from loud to stupid loud lol. if u like ill post a vid of a fly bye vid. i think its not as loud at idle but when the cams kit in its loud.

i can only rev to 8.5k i believe cause im running a sr16 ecu but the N1 stuff is in the work

Because I want to get the most I can out of a 1.6 before increacing capicity.
I know they are not designed for a 1.6 but there does not appear to be any cams designed for a 1.6 that are better than a n1.

N1 cams are high lift/duration and are designed for a 1.6 but work very well in bigger motors. Why cant184c work welk in a 1.6?

Just trying to learn

i get that alot, all the parts i put on my N1 i could make more power with a sr20. yes i can but thats too easy lol. i want to see what i can do with this engine then swap out a s20ve and do it all over again. how many people can say they have a N1 engine fully bolted and did xxxx. not many at all.

some people dont understand we do it for the experience and not just for the power.
yes it might be a waste of time but if the owner enjoys it it doesnt matter to anyone else.

u can also well ur N1's and wont be much out of pocket for the kelfords
