3" Exhaust on a b13 VE BOLTED??
Hey guys, does a 3" Exhaust ,Cat Delete, with a 3" Magnaflow muffler sound like it would make some power on a Bolted b13 VE, Intake and Headers w/ a 2.5" outlet?? or would that be overkill for the motor.

Plans on doing the N1 cams maybe withing about 4 months or so..

Thats pretty much what I ran since I went VE. I felt a nice gain going from 2.5'' crushbent to 3'' mandrel bent. I wouldn't worry about power loss down low. My daily has a 3'' all the way from the header-back.

Did anyone ever have the 2.5" nice flowing exhaust, and went to the 3" and felt a difference?? Either in power Gains or power Loss.??

FYI we've had a bunch of threads on this topic. Want the most power? Go with the 3". Want to save money, or makes things a bit more quiet, or whatever, go with the 2.5".
How much power will you gain going to the 3"? That depends on a lot of factors. It is not a whole bunch, but it is some, and the gains are throughout the entire rev range.

There are a thousand threads on this. Dyno proven 3inch makes more power stock or modified. You do not sacrifice anything going 3 inch except a little loder exhaust note.
