You can get to every single bolt you need to get to from under the motor. No need to remove the intake manifold. There are two 17mm bolts going through the block one that goes through the mount bracket. Easiest way to pull the motor out is to pull it out the bottom. Drop the crossmember by removing the 14mm bolt w/ nut up front, 14mm bolt on the rear mount and 4 14mm bolts holding the crossmember up. leave the engine and trans mount connected, put a little cart or something under the motor drop the car down and unbolt the rest of the motor and lower it with the cherry picker onto the cart or whatever. Then raise the car up higher than the motor. and pull the whole assembly out. Just make sure you disconnect everything.
There are 3 14mm bolts holding the mount bracket to the trans as well. Easier to just unbolt the mount bracket from the trans and leave it in the car. Its not hard at all.
