i've ordered 4 motors from ebay sellers and they've all been perfectly fine.. well except mine did have a crushed oil pan, but it happens..

i've ordered 1 engine/tranny combo from dre, an all the ebay motors were just as clean or cleaner.. no offense dre, the motor we got from you is a good one an still rockin hard!

Def agree, Im sure you can get motors that are clean from ebay, hell we even have an importer here in NJ which = no shipping..

The motor I got from dre had crushed oil pan and a bent rail ( which is what I hoped to avoid )
But motor was def clean as hell and he was great to work with... I just figured it was a safer
bet from with him from some horror stories i read with other places. No complaints.

Got my 2nd ve from jdm ez for 700 shipped to west orlando. When I called I said do it for 700 right here, right now. He paused for a second and said ok I can do it. "I made them an offer they couldn't refuse." Best of all the seller was a tuner himself, so after a breif convo on wrench time he agreed to hand pick my motor. He came through for me bc that Shit was dumb clean. I called back about the crushed plug, and he confirmed that he pulled it himself. I told him I would big him up for looking out. Ve's are sold out speaks for itself.

Talked to tony at jdm engine zone and there at $695 plus $295 for shipping
JDM ($990)
they have one left
and talked to ronald at soko and there at $800 plus $175 for shipping
SOKO ($975)
they have a few
Jdm ebay add "http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...=STRK:MEWNX:IT"

Want to order it this week, and there about the same price

Like weve all said. Engine zone has the cleanest ones. Ronald may have it for same price, but will it be as clean and as good of communication from the company if theirs a problem. More of us have delt with engine zone, and had good experience. Tell tony u will pay 595, like they have them on ebay for. Like i said, if you call or buy on their site its 100 bucks more.

Hey man, I talked to Ronald today when I was ordering a jdm highport for my buddies turbo nx2000 and he told me you called and ordered the engine from him and said you told him I refered you. Just wanted to say thanks. He was very appreciative. I try to give him all the business I can You are in his area as far as jdm engine suppliers go so I think he was your best bet. Im sure you wont be disapointed in the motor either. Did you get it already? Just want to make sure it was as clean as the three ve's Ive gotten from him.

Ive gotten again probably 20 motors from him soo far and every single one was clean as can be and never a problem. Glad you went with Soko.

I just picked up my VE from Soken today, Ronald actually led me in and pointed them out instantly. I felt like a kid on Christmas, he was really knowledgeable on the SR series, and a genuinely nice guy. I wish I would have found these posts sooner, but I'll vouch for Soken too.
