Buying a sr20ve
Finially doing the ve swap just sold my sr20 de so I'm looking around at prices on motors , so far been looking at Dallas Jdm motors. They have a few adds on eBay and go for about 900 bucks, anywhere else to look or ideas for buying complete ve motors ?

Yes well 900 free shipping so pretty much there's others like 700 plus like 150 - 200 shipping

Hit up Soko in cali. Talk to a guy named Ronald, if you want tell him that Ashton from Yuma, AZ referred you. I have gotten two VE's from them and about 13 jdm de's. Every single motor was absolutely clean and low mileage and never had a problem with any of them. All fired right up, clean under the valve cover, and some of the motors had less than 5k miles on them easy. They were that clean. I mean Literally looked as though they had barely been run at all.

I got my ve's from him for 900 shipped. Should be close to the same for you. I dont know about trusting any of those other ebay sellers. All I know is that ive been very happy with the motors ive gotten from Soko. Both ve's compression checked out to 220psi across the board and i think the other one was 225 across. Very healthy motors.

i can also vouch for ronald. he is the man. bought a ton of motors from him when he was in chicago. over 30. had 1 bad motor. he replaced it for free with no hassle and tossed in some freebie stuff. great guy to deal with.

Yeah, he is awesome. Its funny because when I call he knows its me, I guess im the only one from Yuma that buys motors from them. haha. Ive also ordered some honda motors from them for some buddies. Both of them perfect. Total ive purchased about 17 motors from them and not a bad one yet. Not even close.

I'll have to go with my personal experience, Andreas Miko. Bought my VE from him 5 years ago, I have put over 100,000 miles on it so far, still has great compression, have never had to open it up for anything other than installing N1's. Not 1 hiccup.

you sold your de already?. i would of kept it because there are some things you have to switch over from it. I did that mistake with my ve swap. sold the de then realized, oh sh## i need this mount, and this bracket, and these sensors. ended up buying a de from the junky for 150. just saying though. make sure you have everything u need.
