Well from my experiance I can tell you when I did a low to high port I extended a new harness from GregV. Think it was around $40....worked like a charm for the VE swap also.

So i'm currently driving the sentra ve with a few check engine lights. Unfortunantly I broke couple sensors when dropping the motor in. And as time goes on, I am replacing those sensors; I think I should be getting one in the mail today. Anyways I have three check engine light codes that are catching my eye a bitt.
Codes are:
p0443
p1105
p1401-egr temp sensor?

This is a 99 se-l so I bet alot of these codes arent really that important to those with b13's or nx's, probably an easy fix for you guys. But I do have one of the newest sentra's so it might not be so simple for me. Where my b14 people at? haha

Yea... there are like the sensors that are useless from all the 98/99 wiring harness. Just cap them off and tie them up and plug them in for safety sake.

What ecu are you running? Because with a p10 obdii I had two and not one of them was what you have. I know one was p0400 which was for the egr. And the other is for bank 2 rear o2 sensor. With from JWT's website shows you with plugs you need to change. I personally never did it but are now going with a different ecu.

I am still using the 99 de ecu for now; and will be using it for a while. One of the check engine lights is for the egr temp sensor, I read on another forum where they were using 100k resistors ; and thats what i have in there. I might as well plug it back in to see if it goes away.
If anyone has a newer sentra like mine let me know, I have one of the hoses from that tiny purge valve right under the brake cylinder disconnected. re-routing that hose might fix one of my lights. Need help

I dont believe its safe to run it on that ecu. But that's what I was told.

And as for the hose I capped mine off. 2 do not connect to anything on the intake manifold

Why would it not be safe I can't think of any reasons why running the 99 DE ecu would be unsafe.....

I don't know if its safe or not since I'm new to swapping motors. But I am running the de injectors, maf, tps, distributor, and sensors so it should be safe, I guess?.. But this ecu aint bad, ve is running ok.

I'm not really sure. I just was told to use a p10 ecu from two forums members. One of them being Miko... so I would just make sure before something happens. It just wasn't an issue because I all ready had one p10.

But I know there was a reason I just honestly don't remember.
