I'm going to pull out my voltage meter and start checking the plugs and the wiring coming off of the plugs. I wanna know where I am losing power and why. Hopefully its not the ecu or anything. But I'm going to start with the injector swap over. I'll keep posting my status on whatever I figure out.thanx guys

It's likely the plug for the injector or the wiring to the plug. It may have been damaged when you pulled your de out. Trace down the wiring and check for a broken connection.

Yup that's my plan for today; to trace the wires to see if theres any damage. But I'm going to start at the plug. Hopefully its just a faulty plug so I don't have to start getting under all that oem plastic covering and tape.

idk i just dont trust engines from a lot of places. its always good to see what condition its in first. switch injectors from 1 to 2 and 2 to 1 see if it follows the injector or the wiring

Well before I started the ve I put in my original 259cc injectors from the de, and that's when I noticed the problem. And they were working injectors. Then I switched the 333cc's in and same problem. So I'm guessing its the wiring. But yea buying motors is like shopping at an auction, never know what u got until you already buy it.

Did u do a compression check?? U also stated it has spark, injector has pulse so it's not the wiRing. could be the ecu.

Yea I did a compression test. and theres compression in that cylinder. im getting spark in the plug cables. but no fuel shoots out of injector 1. so its fuel. tried two sets of injectors and still not shooting from injector 1. Getting power to the injector plug but what's power without ground.

Finally, got cylinder 1 going! I checked the wiring on the injector harness, and the white wire with the black stripe was cut. Did it up. Taped it up. Turn the key. boom. Nice sounding idle.

Thanx to everyone on this thread.
I really appreciate all the help

I had the same issue on my Harness when i swapped over my VE.. Felt like it literally had 50hp. Came out to be the injector pigtail! I don't know why this happens..?? i guess it's a Common FAIL issue.. They should sticky this Problem..
