Are you willing to open the motor up?

You've pretty much covered all the bolt ons, bar N1 cams.

If you are keeping it 1600cc, a nice hike in compression would do a world of good.

Also, weight loss from the car will help considerably...as they arent exactly a torquey motor.

Yeah id opein it if i have to, How would be best to hike compression? Iv seen With Many of my mates hondas Head skim and Port and polish makes a big difference?

Iv looked at n1 cams, and For power increase against price i cant see it being worth it, hard got second hand, and if im going new id rather maybe Franklins or something?

What header would ye recommend? 4-1 i presume?

Iv tried a powerland manifold and was ok, but im sure ye would have better advise?

@ lynch. surely mapping a full 2l build is a diff story to just mapping a 1.6 high comp?

iv seen many a honda get a head skim and make a serious diff With no mapping at all? On a b16 engine?

Would nissan run diff? And Im no mechanic and trying to learn what i can so Be kind

well im not really familiar with hondas, but im thinking that just skimming the head isnt really increasing the CP all the much..

if your ecu is anything like our calum basic you can easily get some chips from someone here for the 2l..

i really dont see how it would be ALLLLL that much different really.. hell i've seen people run sr16 ecu's on 2l ve's and using DET injectors lol.. plus a AFC could help you fine tune.. that is if your ecu doesnt take chips or whatever...

if it doesnt take chips you could always send the ecu back to be reprogrammed using one of our sr20ve bins to start with..

Sell the 16ve and buy a sr20ve but keep your 16ve cams, or get the n1 cams. That way your motor will be very reliable, and there has to be at least one tuner who can get the car to run correctly wetih a piggyback or a standalone ecu.

Else there's not much else you can do to the 1.6. Maybe N1 cams, N1 intake and TB, port + polish. If you skim 0.5mm to up the CR then you "might" have interference issues if you go with N1 cams. But you'll have to check on your motor.

Regardless of which route you go tuning is key to any setup. So you need to get that sorted either way.

Thats what i was trying to find out, Would there be any gains from an n1 intake and port and polish?

I have a premapped ecu, which i need to find some1 to map it, But i still dont have faith in sr20ve builds till iv seen one run as a daily for a while, Theres is a few being built atm, so i will wait it out and see how theres runs as a daily,

Can any one recommend a good 4-1 header?
Iv looked for mazworks, ssac, and aebs and not alot showing up :S
