Thread: HELP!~! vvl heater hoses

can anyone take a pic or anything that shows where the heater core lines run to and from...i can't see where they actually connect at behind the Intake manifold? let me also add that i got the car with everything not connected and with all this rain... def need some type of defroster!!~!! tired of wiping the window with a towel lol!

on the pass side the heater hose goes strait from taht to one one the inlets on the firewall right behind it. and on the driverside there's a bung on one of the brass hoses tah wrap around the block. you need an adapter fitting for that one though. 1/2-5/8 i think.

Oh and on a side note, use your air conditioning, doesn't matter if it's on cold or hot, it will demist the windscreen as you're blow dehumidified air across it. (it may cause hyperthermia)

You gotta go to auto zone and get a 3/4'' to 5/8'' adapter. Actually, here is a good reference.

i can snap a couple pix of my hoses and where they're connected! i had a nightmare trying to find out where they wen't when i first installed them..
