VE or VE-T ?
My roller rocker DE spun a bearing in my p10t on the highway the other day so I picked up an SR20VE but don't know which route makes more sense to go with it; all motor or boost. I'm affrAid the p10 chasis might be too heavy for an all motor set up. I have all the parts to go boost Nd to go all motor. I need opinions good or bad.

It also sounds more reliable for daily driving also...I've never been in a "stock" VE'd car before

I have a fully bolted VE in a P10 and I can tell you that it depends on your goals with the car. The VE is been very reliable and fun for since 2008 but like you mentioned the P10 it's too heavy. Bottom line is if you wanna make a few trips to the track and or keep up with the Honda Si's , I'd recomend a low boost set up at least. You may be running low 14's if your VE is healthy and put together right.

To be honest I would highly suggest ditching the VE and getting a DET, since its easier to boost. Unless you have the cash to put in low compression pistons on the VE or invest in a free flowing manifold and T3 Turbo. Im basing my opinion on my experience owning a VE'd P10 and having two previous boosted B14's.

Drill and tap the VE block and then install and see how you like it NA. I pulled a VE out of my B13 to install a T28 setup and I kind of regretted it as the car wasa bit brutal for driving around in small streets of pdx.

Niceeeee...I've only ridin in a 12:5:1 VE'd b14 making around 240whp I know there hella fun, the only thing I'm worried about is not being satisfied with it in a p10 chasis (my DD). I'm curious as to know the comparison of a VE b13 and a VE p10 stock to stock

My current goal is a reliable daily driver that I can have fun with from time to time nothing too crazy...would it be a bad idea to boost it with a stock bottom end and get a tune ?

VE-T comes at a price. I'm still trying to get all of the parts together for mine and I'm leaving the stock 10.3:1 pistons in. If you want to do it right, it will cost a good bit.
