Ok while an SR20 is in there, being in a Toyota Startlet and RWD running a 7 to me doesn't count. That should be in another category. I'd say it should be limited to at least a Nissan vehicle if you talk about the fastest SR20..

You want to talk about Mazworx's S15? I think they were doing shakedowns in the 6-second range? Maybe it wasn't that fast? My memory there is a bit blurry.

Edit: A quick YouTube search shows them deep in the 7s at least.

Edit 2: Just watched the video on their home page. Seems they are still chasing that 6-second pass.

What crack are you on? the low 7 second nissan (datsun) in that video is powered by an sr20vet. It also ran a 7 on a low mount manifold. Under the bonnet at least of the car its looks more "street" than most cars on this forum.

Since when does a seven second car "not count" cause the engine and chassis are made by different suppliers!

P.s. There are plenty of sr20 powered nissan's running 9 and lower.

I'm just saying it should be a car that actually came with the SR20 inside of it to count as the fastest SE-R.

Semantics. I meant SR20 powered car. I hear SE-R I think SR20 and SR20 I think SE-R.

Wasn't the SE-R generation of vehicles (B13, B14, B15, B16, etc) powered by several different engine families @Storm88000 ??
