^Interesting. If this is true, I'm glad someone is building the max to see what the SR can produce at it's peak displacement.

All you gotta do is notch the cylinder walls to allow the rods to clear or lower the point at which the piston is attached to the rod and it can clear. Or both or one of the two.

My Dad did this on a L20B 510, took a 2.4L crank and put it in his L20B. At first, the rods hit the engine block, put notches in and it worked. Made a stroker L20B for his street machine 510 after they switched the gasoline on him it caused him to change his train of thought.

Unfortunately as of right now, we have no idea if it will work from a reliability stand point but I guess that is not really the point of this build. We shall see!

There's already a bit of notching going on for this motor. Also, where will you get a crank with more than 100mm stroke from? Not sure if there's anything out there (from nissan oem or aftermarket) that can fit a SR block.

So what? Any update on this project? I have my stock sleeve came bad because of broken rod, so maybe I'll be next sr27ve guy!? Just want to know your progress on that. Updates, updates!!!

I've made the custom flywheel to go with the 6 bolt crank, Need to finish the custom Thrust washers and then I still waiting doe the pistons
