Its not hard. For some reason most n/a 2.0VEs I see around run low 15s high 14s.. My buddies DE SER with i/h/e ran 15.2 all day. I pulled him by a good 3 car lengths when I had my good clutch.

So you don't personally own a VE, and yet want to argue with fellow members (who actually do own VE) about the activation points for stock VE cams.

No credibility.

He can argue because he pulls on stock VE's all the time.

5500rpm?! I'm sure it does "hit hard" That's N1 territory. Stock, mine was at 4600+/-, 16ve cams 4800-4900+/-, now with the n1's it's around 5400 I think. been a long time since I have messed with them or looked at the mss at all after I dialed them in.

Just went for a ride and messed up with the activation points, started @ 5200 and
I didn't like it, the car felt numb between 4800 and 5200. Then I setted at 4600 and felt better, not sure if better than 4800 but definetely better than 5200.

Took the plugs out, doen't seem like I'm running rich... It even looks like I'm on the lean side

you need to throw it on a dyno to figure out the VVL points. You dont want to feel a kick in power when it turns on.
