I would guess yes! my a/c compressor starting going and holding me back as it got louder. One day it locked up and I couldn't start my car because it was holding up the belts. Cut the belt and bypassed it and it made a crazy difference even from when it could still spin makin noise.

But I don't know for sure. If you need another and don't have one I know someone with a spare clean one.

Definetely I need another one so any advice is appreciated, the fact is that since I don't live in the states I only get my stuff in June or even July when I go to Riverside where a cousin lives, that's the reason I haven't ordered my wideband yet.

I rather get an AEM and get it shipped to my cousin's house, meanwhile I could deal with the timming issues and the Gspec crank pulley and its messed marks

Just letting you know this was a tuning issue, got it tuned and ran 14.4 @ 99MPH

Considering the trap, how fast could I be with proper traction?

i was pullin 14.0 at that speed, but with some sticky tires and a great launch 13.8 Should be doable

I'm on BFGoodrich drag radials but ran all night at 30psi :o

14.4 was my last and best pass at 22psi and launching at 5000RPM

Going back to the strip but now the setup will be

- N1 cams
- Tuned 13.0 AFR
- Remove all seats and door panels
- Use 14" alloys SE-R rear wheels (lighter than my 15's)
- Redone intake pipe 3" (not sure about pluggin my N60 already)

Looking for a clean 13 second pass

Woahhh..

First mistake I see is launching at 5krpm!

Try 3krpm then try 3.5krpm etc

That's something I've been reading, by example in this thread I cannot watch the vids but as far as I read he got off the line pretty quick and he was launching at about 3600RPM

I've been launching above 4500RPM and for being honest, everybody got off the line quicker than me even when my RT were .6XX, had to ease on the throttle in first gear.
