Ok finally got on the dyno. Used some of the advice given here when I dailed the cams. The power numbers are okay, but we could probably get a few more hp from this motor. Main concern is the power peaks too soon. This is on a stock IM. We're gonna build a custom plenum and see if that helps the motor breath better at higher rpm. thoughts?

It's the cam gear settings. If u play with those u can move the power band around.

The number 4 cylinder generally always gets less air and the number 1 gets the most air. Leaner mixtures hotter, richer mixture cooler

Makes sense Miko.

@BlueRB240 - I'd love to make some more power higher up and not just move the curve further on. Hoping the intake will help with that but have some other ideas too.

Jer the header is custom built 4 - 1 with one step.

ran a bearing after 2 days. So mad and frustrated.

Did you reuse your old oil pump from the last time the motor ate the bearing?
