Yeah I guess you'd want the inlet retarded that much on a turbo to remove the overlap. NA = different story unless you want to rev to 9-10K hence all the complaints.

Don't know sorry, I wasn't aware Franklin had different versions of their cam (I know kelford have a couple of different versions kicking around). They may well have improved them now

Was that a misprint, because the FS4 with a turbo will probably peak at 9,000rpm. The big cam won't come out to play until 7,500 rpm.

With the regrind to the above LSA I made 156.9KW. Not a bad figure compared to other builds. I never had other cams so nothing to compare to.

Moles what rpm are you kicking the VVL? 6400? or sooner? are the TQ figures 540nm?

540nm atw on this dyno is good, my 20v made 580 with a whole lot of bolt ons, but no where near this peak power.

156kw atw is amazing. Most mildly modified VE's make maybe 130kw, stockish ones around 115 to 120kw. Most i have seen before was 143kw, and that was N1 cams and intake ona 2.0ve with a light head tidy up.

is this just a bolt on motor?

Thats a pretty good figure 209 whp is pretty good as far as the 2 litre builds go

That's a really strange torque reading on that dyno. I mean a VE makes what 200-ish nm at the flywheel in stock trim.

Peak torque was around the 575 mark. I know it isn't really comparable to other dyno's but I haven't asked why they measure it so differently. It's definitely one of the more reputable dyno's in the country though. Cam switch is at 6250/6350 I/E. I'm sure this could be played with more if I have the time.

You mean 187ish that's what a Stock SR20VE is rated at from the factory.
