Thread: CP Sr20VE 12:5:1 Pistons in a SR16VE =?

If we use sr16ve pistons in the sr20ve we get 12,5
so the sr20ve cp 12,5 piston is the "same" as the sr16ve piston
So we can use the CP12,5 and have our 11 cr.

we can increase it, but must be careful. shave 1mm from the head will give about 12cr. it works in the stock sr16ve, but it might not work in the n1 cam'd engine

got some word back from CP but they need me to send them a sr16ve piston to work from which sends the cost on this build up some more

look at the piston on the left, that's where the pistons need to be notched to clear the oil squirters (not mine)

I'm pretty sure he means pics of the notch for the oil squirter. Which I can kinds see on the middle piston
