i've got this very same issue, have had it since i did my swap way back.. never had any issues an consult shows im running normal temps, i've tried 3 different T-stats and i've bled the system a few times an it doesnt leak coolant at all..

the other 2 ve swaps i've done dan have perfectly normal temps..

btw i didnt swap the temp sensors from your de to your ve since they were the same colors remember? i doubt that has anything to do with it tho but we can try bleeding your system.. your car does warm up faster then mine tho And i've sen it in the middle more then i would see mine..

Changed the thermostat over the weekend guys, and properly bled the system.. Still same thing..

i seriously doubt it will, mines been this way for like 2 years or more with no issues... if your really that concerned put in an actual temp gauge..

Mine does the same too, but it wont go pass half way idk but since i got my car my needle has been close to half way on normal temp on my DE and my VE if im stuck in traffic. while driving it goes down, Im thinking it my temp. sensor. but it dont bother me much i just check my coolant once in awhile.

Same thing with me.. I can say tho, that the New Thermostat kinda made a Small change.. Now when i drive it about 25 mins or so in stop and go traffic, needle will go up about a quarter (1/2) but of course will climb down..

The only thing thats bothering me is that i don't hear the fans kick on, and they WILL NOT kick on if the Temp is low right??? or Will they still kick on, even if the gauge "might" not be accurate readings..??

I know they work tho, cuz both kick on when i turn up the A/C

I'm just afraid of going LONG trips (San antonio, Austin, Dallas,) if indeed, the temp gauge's not reading right..
