Thread: Car starts, won't stay running!?... 91 se-r w/ ve swap

With $4+ a gallon for gas my suburban is getting parked as my daily and I'm making my 91 VE SE-R the daily. It's been parked since about the fall and I attempted to start it a few months ago. It starts but only stays running for about 2 seconds then dies...

Also before I parked it for the winter I noticed the car would cut out when I'd make sharp left turns. Like it was losing fuel or

If it helps the car has a fuel pressure gage near the fuel rail that has a crack in the glass.

WTF is wrong with my VE!????

Have you checked your fuel pump??? Fuel Filter??

check fuel, spark, plugs, then (what I think it is) check your air system for leaks.

see if the fuel lines are installed properly

I sounds like a fuel issue. Start with this, pull the fuel hose and turn the ignition for a split sec and see if it squirts any fuel. if you do bypass the pressure gage. Let us know.
