maybe rpm isnt accurate in the gauge, check wiring on ecu rpm pin source.

used same before and it worked fine (P10_Goodness link).

Cluster has signal from ECU. Thats accurate.

4200 isnt too low. I popped mine at 4400 w stock cams. its annoying though but I never had a problem getting the signal from the distro.

that goofy stuff Josh did you your distro might mess it up though.

My first Summit switch was bad, Summit sent me a new one that they personally tested in their store shop. Good possibility that you have a bad switch.
