Summit switch not workign right?
Summit Racing RPM-Activated Switch 830449-1 | eBay

Thats the switch i have, have it on 4500 rpm, and it keeps kicking in at 3500? Its wired right to the tac signal in the ecu, 1 wire to power, 1 grounded, and the other ground wire to the vvl solenoid. And then another vvl wires to power. ? Im not getting why it keeps cutting in at that rpm.

Double check the settings, specially the pulses per revolution one (if it have one)

For a 4 cylinder should be set at 2 pulses per revolution, or at least that's how my Granatelli is set

Thanks kevo but that didnt help me still lol.

Its only got like 4 wires, 1 power, 1 ground, 1 to vvl that grounds it, and 1 to tach.

NOW, i got it working at 4200 rpms, i want it at 45-5k, but its not letting me go into that range? Every time i put the switch to there it kicks in at 36-40k ? 42 is better than 36, but i want the most power out of it lol. Im going to call summit, i think the switch is just messing up.

Yup, double check your settings. I've got two on my car, never had a single problem with them, been like 3 years now. Also what are you using to gauge the RPM that they are coming on? Consult? or just your Tach? I had to watch Cosult to verify, my Tach is so lazy its a joke.

Sorry this is actually what I'm using, two of them.
