another thing you can try is to wrap the edge of your alignment tool with duct tape or similar to the proper thickness, this way you simulate the pilot bearing. Just be sure to wrap the tape tightly so there is no sag in there, also try to keep it easy to insert/pull out...it should go in like normal that's what I would do anyway

thanks for the tip, but the if I go any bigger than it wont pass though the cluth disc hole. Anyway I ended up aligning it with the universal tool an eye %. But the good newes is that today I finished my VE swap. I primed the oil by taking the fuel pump fuse and cranking for a awhile then Brrrrruuuuum, first try it came alive yeah buddy another VVL is officially on the streets of Fayetteville NC. I'll make a thread with details and pictures later.
