So we didnt know the b14 distributor doesnt fit right on the ve, plug wont work cuz its hits. So what do we use? Would say just rewire but the ve distributor is broken. Anyone?

Regular b14 works fine in the middle(should be 15 degrees), but will hit if you try to advance it. Or you can use the roller rocker dist, it has the plug facing the radiator.
what i did today was made a Frankenstein distributor.. i used the VE pedestal and b14 everything else including the shaft.. it all fit together except some of the screw holes didnt line up so the only thing holding it together is the cap bolts lol it spins ok an the disc rotates nice an even.. However since it put the plug in the 12 O'clock position when it used to be in the 1 o'clock position i believe that at TDC the rotor will no longer point at the #1 plug hole on the cap.. i believe it will point closer to the #2 plug hole and i may have to run the wires differently.. as long as i can time it to 15* it should be fine..
i know this all sounds hella goofy and i agree, but its a band-aid to get it going until he gets something else..
we would of wired the ve on it but the dist came broken an with no wiring
also i had to take a razor blade an shave un needed plastic off the rotor so it didnt rub on the inside of the cap lol.. GHETTO.. but i've known old school people that have done things like this before to get odd engine combos running..
