Thread: Idle help

i just did a vvl swap into my b14 instead of wiring in the iac purple plug to the harness i just swapped over the one of my de just the piece where the plug is and now i have problems turning on the car in the morning doesnt stay on till its hot i also got code p0505 (idle control malfunction) do you think it has to do with me swaping that piece of the iac valve?

i did it like that on my first ve and didn't have any issues. you may have two problems. if you have the factory ve throttle body look at the cold idle contraption on there.

GOT IT! the air hose below the iac was kinked.
