Window switch question
I'm just curious but when I installed my msd rpm switch I hooked up a relay with it also cause I wasn't sure how much voltage went from the Seminoles and the msd. I was curious if anyone else did that also or is it not a problem to put the msd straight to the selinoids?

People have used relays, yes. But they are not needed, just run the msd straight to the solenoids.

So where do you get the 12v signal from?scince I'm eliminating the relay I'm guessing ima get it from the wiper motor or somthing

Without the relay there will be a small current draw from the solenoids with the car off

That's why I was thinking about getting the 12v from the wiper motor it's only drawing power when the ignition is on

But also if I was to connect the 12v side to let's say the battery I don't think it will pull power from it cause the circuit isn't complete until the rpm switch send the ground to the selinoids then it will draw the power.

You need a switched 12v source, hooking up directly to the battery will keep the unit powered 24/7

I used my radio wire for the 12v source. I think you can use the hazard lights wire too.

Well you already have it hooked up. Why mess with it further? If you really must though you can look on the fuse panel cover itself, and it lists all of the circuits. It tells you if they are ignition/battery powered.
